If you want to help, there is a link below to have RAC mail you postcards. You supply the postage. There is a suggested donation for the postcards but it is not required. Click here to order postcards . If you have questions, contact Deb Liebman.
Period Pantries Many people with economic challenges do not have access to menstrual health products, which are not covered by any public benefit assistance. To promote menstrual health equity, we’re supporting ManyCanWear, a not for profit organization created by our own Bella Bernstein, by placing a colorful collection box in the Lobby. All hygiene products you donate will stock the “Period Pantries,” located in our most underserved neighborhoods. Contact Judy Kahn for more information.
Coming Soon
We will be beginning a monthly class in January for those looking to learn Jewish Basics. If you might be interested, please let us know.
Sisterhood/ Brotherhood Brunch December 3 from noon - 3:00 pm Join us for a musical journey through the 1970’s through the songs of several Jewish songwriters, such as Paul Simon, Carole King, Carly Simon, and Randy Newman. You will hear a range of music and themes from that era, and likely recognize some familiar tunes from the 70’s catalogue. You will also hear lesser-known songs that, though written in the 1970’s, have resonance and relevance today. The songs will be performed by members of the “Band of Gold” Carmen Lookshire, Tony Schettino, and Garry Sanders.
