* Jewish Bedtime Stories and Songs for Families - PJ Library (PJ is short for pajamas) began as a local initiative in 2005, and currently works with Jewish institutions in more than 200 communities throughout North America and in 12 communities globally, to distribute Jewish-themed children’s books and music to young families. Since the program began, more than 14,000,000 books and CDs have been sent to Jewish families across North America.
Thanks to the generosity of our local funders, Hugh Johnson Advisors and Homestead Funding Corporation, PJ Library is available for free to 700 children who live in the Capital District area.
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or friend of someone with young children, please help us share news of this special program with Jewish families throughout the area who have children through the age of 8. It’s easy to enroll!
Are there children you love who live outside of this community? You are welcome to purchase a gift subscription for them. Please click here or call PJ Library at (413) 439-1981 for the details.
