Adult Education Programs
Rabbi Martin I. Silverman Interreligious Fund
This fund is used to promote programs to encourage inter-religious education and understanding.
Rabbi Scott L. Shpeen Distinguished Artist Fund
This fund is used to underwrite the cost of hosting artists and speakers at the Temple.
Brotherhood Funds
Brotherhood General Fund
Funds donated will be used to enhance Brotherhood special projects and events.
Building Funds
Beautification Fund
This fund provides for our weekly bima flowers as well as enhancement to our house and grounds.
Hazel B. Wagner Memorial Fund
This fund is used for kitchen improvements and materials.
Caring Community Funds
David Goodman Reyut/Caring Community Fund
This fund supports the many projects of our Reyut/Caring Community committee.
Transportation Fund
Proceeds from this fund are to be used to provide transportation for members to and from religious services and other activities at the Temple.
Cemetery Funds
Mendleson Chapel Fund
Proceeds from this fund are used for repair and enhancements to the Mendleson Chapel at the Beth Emeth Cemetery.
Thomas M. Nathan Fund for Cemetery Maintenance
Funds are used for support and care for the Beth Emeth Loudonville Cemetery.
Clergy Funds
Rabbi Scott L. Shpeen Discretionary Fund
This fund is used by Rabbi Shpeen at his discretion for various programs, projects & purposes to benefit the temple, the community or those individuals in need.
Funds to Enhance Worship
Prayer Book Fund
Proceeds from this fund are to be used to acquire prayer books or Torah commentaries with inscriptions "In honor or in memory of." The minimum contribution for a prayer book is $30; Torah Commentaries are $60.
Shenker/Campbell Clergy Development Fund
An endowed fund to support CBE Clergy.
General Fund
This fund supports the Temple's current operating budget.
Sharon Seiden Stein Memorial Fund
This fund is used for special Temple projects
Library/Archives/Judaic Art
Ellen Herkowitz Judaic Art Fund
Proceeds from these funds are used to acquire and maintain archival items for the Temple.
Lorraine Bollt Paul Archives Fund
Proceeds from these funds are used to acquire and maintain archival items for the Temple.
Sylvia & Henry Braun Library Fund
This fund is used for the acquisition of books, videos and related materials for the Temple Library.

This fund will be used to underwrite & enhance musical programming at Beth Emeth.
Religious School Funds

This fund is used to provide gifts to high school students who have volunteered their services at the temple's religious school.

This fund is used to provide additional programming materials and resources, or special projects relative to our program of education.

This fund is used to provide Religious School scholarship as needed.

Mitzvah Day Fund
Funds are used to help purchase supplies for our annual Mitzvah Day.
Social Action Tzedakah Fund
This fund is used to support various projects and activities of our Social Action Committee, including the Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry, Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless Shelter and special emergent needs.

Ben Mendel URJ Camp Scholarship Fund
This fund helps enable childdren attend a URJ Summer Camp
David Iselin Memorial CBEYG/Youth Fund
Funds will underwrite the Congregation Beth Emeth Youth Group annual retreat through scholarships for 9th graders to participate at no cost and/or supplementary costs that might not otherwise be available. This fund will also provide scholarship (on an as need basis) for youth of our congregation to attend any of a variety of Jewish leadership programs.
Rose Rogers Singer Memorial Fund
Funds are used to underwrite various expenses incurred by participants in Temple Youth Group (CBEYG) activities, to underwrite camp tuition for needy children and to help fund youth trips to Israel.

Join Sisterhood for a moderate, wintry hike - bring or rent snowshoes! Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are allowed on all hiking trails. Five Rivers offers snowshoes for rent during the winter, but they're only available when there is at least 6 inches of snow on the ground. There is a small fee for snowshoe rental, but rentals are free for members of the Friends of Five Rivers. If you have any questions, please reach out to cbesisterevents@gmail.com. -
