Installation of Cantor Emily Short

There is no fee for the Friday Evening Service and Oneg, however you do need to RSVP. Please click the images below to RSVP.

What is an installation?

An installation is like the grand welcoming party for our incredible Cantor Short at Congregation Beth Emeth! It's the official ceremony where we all gather to cheer and celebrate as Cantor Short officially steps into her role as our musical and spiritual guide.

Why does it matter?

Oh, it matters big time! This is not just any event; it's the moment we officially recognize Cantor Short's awesomeness and welcome her with open arms into our Beth Emeth family. It's a chance for us to show our support, share in the joy, and create lasting memories together.

Why should I attend?

Picture this: a joyful atmosphere filled with sacred music, prayers that touch the soul, and the vibrant energy of our community coming together. You won't want to miss Cantor Short's installation—it's not just an event; it's a celebration! Whether you're a longtime member or thinking about joining, this is your invitation to join in the excitement and be part of something truly special.

And have you heard about Cantor Short's journey? From her Bachelor's in Theatre and Music to her ordination as a cantor, she has dedicated herself to the rich tapestry of Jewish culture. Holding dual Master's Degrees in Sacred Music and Jewish Non-Profit Management, she brings a unique blend of passion and expertise. With her and her wife Frankie joining our Beth Emeth family, this installation is going to be a spectacular moment you'll want to be a part of! Get ready for two nights filled with warmth, music, and a whole lot of love!
