7:00 PM - 8:00 PM"Expansive Gender in Jewish Tradition" While gender expansiveness is a new idea to many of us, it has existed in Jewish tradition for millennia! This session will explore the history of gender expansiveness in Judaism, including the six genders of the Talmud. Our speakers will be Ze’evi Simcha Tovlev (they/them) is a Reform cantorial student, a cantorial intern at Temple Gates of Heaven, & a graduate of the Rhea Hirsch School of Education at HUC-JIR & Ariel Ezekiel Tovlev (he/him or they/them) is a Reform rabbinical student & a graduate of the Rhea Hirsch School of Education at HUC-JIR.
