Covid-19:

COVID Protocols: Updated fall 2022

While we are not requiring vaccination or masking, we strongly recommend all who attend our services and events be fully vaccinated, and boosted if able, and wear a mask when inside the building.

We look forward to welcoming you to Congregation Beth Emeth! We have prepared this guidance in consideration of several factors, including:

  • We often have many people gathered in one place
  • Many families with students in school, immunocompromised loved ones, etc. wish to reduce exposure
  • Many coming to temple will be visiting from out of town
  • There continues to be a large percentage of COVID-19 positive cases in the Capital Region

If you choose to not wear a mask, we encourage you to take a rapid test before you join us. We will not ask for a copy of your results, but trust you will stay home should you test positive.

Additional COVID Safety Enhancements: We have taken additional safety precautions at Beth Emeth, including:

  • Murph 13 filters installed in the Sanctuary
  • We keep our Sanctuary and Chapel doors open to allow for the flow of fresh air
  • Our clergy, choir, and all adult participants on the bimah test the day of services
  • We continue to follow rigorous cleaning and disinfecting protocols
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are accessible throughout the building

We ask those who do not feel well and are experiencing symptoms, who have been recently exposed to someone who has tested positive, or who are awaiting test results to please stay home.
