JEWISH GENETICS SPEAKER

9:30 - 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Speaker Elsa Reich, Clinical Professor at the NYU School of Medicine will discuss the Jewish Women's Breast and Ovarian Cancer Genetics Study being conducted at NYU. Dr. Reich will also discuss clinical applications of the research and what it means for all of us. This program is brought to you by To Life, a breast cancer education and support agency located in Delmar and Beth Emeth Sisterhood and is free and open to the community.To register, call To Life at 439-5975 or e-mail at . Rosh Chodesh ~ Celebrating the Moon

10:45 am - 12:30 pm Join Rabbi King-Tornberg who along with women volunteers, facilitates this program. We study, pray, eat, socialize and commemorate the New Moon and the new month, as Jewish women have done for centuries. This is a great way to spend some of your Shabbat in a community of women, exploring issues important to us as Jews and as women. This program is free and open to the community and is sponsored by the Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Emeth.
