Exciting News! The JCC Maccabi Games ( are coming to the Capital Region next summer, August 6-11, 2017. The JCC Maccabi Games are the number one Jewish teen engagement tool available to us. We will have over a 1000 visiting athletes and coaches coming to the Capital Region to compete in baseball, basketball, soccer, ice hockey, tennis, swimming, golf, table tennis, dance or being a star reporter and we need your help. There will be numerous ways for you to help from serving on a committee about a particular aspect of the games to being a host family to volunteering some time the week of the games. There will be an initial interest meeting to find out more about the games, what they mean for our community and how you can help on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 7pm at the Albany JCC. Please RSVP to Brian Robinson, Capital Region JCC Maccabi Games Director, and if you cannot make the meeting but would like to learn more please also reach out to Brian for more information. This is an extremely important and monumental event for our community and I hope that you are able to help in some way.
